Christmas has come and gone?!?!

I'm not sure when all this happened? I'm not sure where the time has gone?

It's already christmas past?!?  Oh my goodness.. The last 4 months have gone so fast..

To keep updates on here, I opened my business, we are now full!! YAY!!
Vendors are all set up, we have a ton of foot traffic..
I want to start selling some online - Brocantethemarket.etsy.com
We will ship out of the store (That's the vision) Sometimes things change.. I'm getting good with change..

I'm just gettin' good.. Well, maybe just gettin!

It's OPEN!!

We are open for business!
I did it! I did it!! I did it!!!

It's been a few weeks, and we have sold something everyday..

A few things that I wanted to happen, have not happened, BUT... it's all in God's plan, and I know it's gonna be something even better!
We are slowly filling up with some of the most creative people!!
I LOVE it!
I'm so excited to be amongst creative, uplifing, exciting people..

I have a town meeting Thursday, still have to join the chamber..

It's true what people say.. "You have to take that frst step...". 
It's been so easy, and smooth like butta. (That's totally God.. I had nothing to do with that!)
It was just that fear of the first step. Once you take it, it's quite a climb, slow and steady.. AND
I know the WEEEEEEEE down the other side is gonna be a blast!!

It's a GO!!

Well, talked over the lease with the landlord.  He agreed, I agreed.. We all agreed , agreed!!

I have already got a facebook page - www.BrocantetheMarket/Facebook... (You are more than welcome to go "like") Invited all the vendors and put all my info out there.

Got a web page - www.Brocantethemarket.com.

The lease starts Sept 1, hopefully all will be in and running by the meet and greet on Sept. 15, and the store will be officially open by pioneer days (a town par-tay that Skiatook has) on the 21st!!

I have sent for my sales tax permit, and my "DBA" to open a business account.

My husband (God did really send him to me) is agreed, and already got a vendor or two comin' in!!

We are getting this ball rollin'... now to just keep it bouncin?!?!

Yeah, a bit nerved!

I sign the lease with the landlord for 3 years on Aug 17th. I asked for a little bit of time to get my ducks in a row...lol
I have no idea what ducks, or where I'm gonna "row" 'em!
I have a co-worker that will measure out the space and build a plan to put vendors in a "homey, elegant, cozy" space that will be up to code as well. THANKS MR. BRISON!!

I wrote the "vendor" info, and rental agreement. That was sort of a stress reliever. I had my mind on other things and not crammed into BROCANTE, BROCANTE, BROCANTE...

I guess my next step is the accountant..and getting all info I will need for taxes and such.

Then post out on Facebook "LOOKING FOR VENDORS"

Prayer for the business and store

The Holy Spirit is orchestrating and advertising, connections and promotions for the work I am doing in God's kingdom! I will walk out the vision you have placed in me. IT WILL NOT BE ABORTED. It will come forth in Jesus' name at your appointed time in the right place. The enemy will not abort any activities or event that is DIVINELY scheduled for my life. Keep me running with your vision w/out being hindered or delayed. I am an open channel for the expression of God. The moment of my creation brought gifts, talents, and experiences that belong to no one else.

I DID IT!

I got my EIN# (Tax ID), I am going to the county clerk to get my DBA. I am now officially "Brocante - The Market." (That stands for Flea Market, in French.. I didn't want to actually call it a FLEA market.But that is what it boils down to.)
I have to apply for a "Certificate of Authority" so I can charge tax.. I'm opening my business bank account today. I called the realtor to find a building to lease for a little while, maybe buy in a few years? This is really happening! I'm so excited.
  I talked to another store owner that I graduated school with, and she loves owning her own business, being her own boss.. She said ya just gotta do it! Once your in and going, you will learn things as you go.
I need to call an accountant and get hooked up with all that too.

Now , I need to get vendors on board with me, and get this party started!!
So excited.

I pray and pray every single day for this to become a reality.
God answers prayers, just so ya know.
Maybe not in the time frame that I want it to happen, but ya just gotta let go, and realize his timing is so perfect... He is amazing!!
