First Time for Everything

Well, I'm starting this a day after my 39th birthday. Guess there is no time like the present. In the words of Oogway, the wise old turtle, " Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, Today is a gift! That's why it's called a present"  : ) (Gotta love the panda)

I have chosen to write about the steps I have taken to start my own business. This is gonna be like an online journal.

It's a modern market that is like a flea market (but not a flea market), and can show displays of the local artistse's...  The local craftiers...  I want to be able to be on-line, selling on Etsy, EBay, Webstore, etc... Have auctions on Tophatter, and ship out UPS (Our post office is closed on the weekends).

I have been to a store in our area that is WONDERFUL. It is the perfect building, the perfect display areas, the perfect dining/stage/conference area, and photography studio. Up and down the aisles are wonderful displays, tables on tables, large old armoires used as diplay cases, wonderful crafts, clothes and upscaled vintage/antique items, toile wreaths, bows, glasses, candles... anything crafty minds could even dream of.
The lady is a Gypsy Soul.. and it shows.

Our building is about 9600 sq. ft. and has 4 rooms that could be rented out as Photography or Art studio, massage rooms, rooms for teachers to show folks how to sell on Etsy, Ebay, Webstore, etc.. or how to make things, design, or conference areas.

There is even a man who wants to open an ice cream parlor. I miss ice cream, my hips don't, but I certainly do!

Now off to get my tax ID, and get an account up and running.
Big Dreams, BIG dreams : )
